Highlighting these efforts each year is the Mississippi Delta Music & Arts Festival: a three-part celebration of heritage, creativity, and community featuring interactive workshops, visual and performing arts, historical exhibits, and collaborative learning experiences. The festival culminates in the prestigious S.H.E.P. Scholars & Community Excellence Awards, an elegant evening recognizing the achievements of students, educators, artists, civic leaders, and community champions whose lives exemplify excellence, service, and leadership.
